
Trans rights protest, London, January 2023
In January 2023, the UK government blocked the Scottish government’s Gender Recognition Bill using Section 35 of the Scotland Act to do so. Causing anger amongst many within the LGBTQ+ community, trans people and allies assembled outside Downing Street to voice their anger about another assault on their rights.
